Wesley’s new boarding facility, Learning in Residence, is purpose built for Senior School students (Years 10 – 12) coming from metropolitan Melbourne, rural Australia, and international locations across Asia and Europe.

Learning in Residence builds on Wesley’s four fundamental principles of learning; learning to know, learning to do, learning to live with and learning to be, in the real-life context that living and learning in residence provides.

Now open for enrolment, Learning in Residence offers boarding options to suit every family:

Full-time boarders are resident 7 days and nights a week - an option well-suited to international and regional families

Weekly boarders arrive at 8.00am on Mondays and return home at 3.30pm on Fridays - an arrangement that suits many local Melbourne families

What sets Learning in Residence at Wesley apart?

Full integration into the Senior School. Learning in Residence is situated adjacent to the senior school campus with sport, music and drama facilities catering for all interests and needs.  The rich Learning in Residence evening and weekend curricula are available to all students – day and boarding

Learning side by side in a culturally and linguistically diverse community.  Learning in Residence at Wesley fosters a true understanding of our shared humanity and a lived appreciation of the things that unite us.  We prepare students to be global citizens with the knowledge, skills, attitude and mindset to participate actively in resolving global challenges and harnessing opportunities

A dynamic, stimulating learning space.  Learning in Residence provides an authentic, supportive context where learning occurs through lived experience.  Rigorous academic mentoring, outstanding pastoral care, and unparalleled cocurricular opportunities develop the whole student - intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual

Modern living in a safe and secure environment. The contemporary design and build of Learning in Residence reflects the importance of social and cultural engagement.  The modern, twin share student residences are located around a central courtyard with access to a 240 seat communal dining room for day and boarding students
