Ballarat Clarendon College is an exceptional school. It is a school that is steadfastly focused on its mission – to maximise a student’s competence, skills and capacity so that, at the end of their time at school, when they stand on the threshold of their future, they can choose their heart’s desire.

Ballarat Clarendon College has over 1500 students across its two Ballarat campuses. It offers quality boarding education for 75 female and 75 male secondary students from across western Victoria and southern New South Wales in two separate areas on the Sturt Street campus. Clarendon strives to develop the whole individual by maximising each boarder’s progress in all aspects of their life – their personal wellbeing, their relationships with others, their sporting and performing arts pursuits and, of course, their learning. This enables each boarder to explore a range of course and career options with confidence and to choose their heart’s desire

Clarendon’s boarding houses give young adults a unique setting in which to grow and develop as individuals; it is a safe, caring and homely environment where a dedicated staff are focused on building a strong and supportive community. Boarding staff are committed to really knowing the boarders and their families. Staff encourage and guide students in their academic, social and emotional development by providing targeted, individual support; boarding staff are invested in ensuring that students optimise their potential, that they make progress in every aspect of their lives – in the classroom, on the stage, in their relationships, on the sporting field.
