Collegiate understands the importance of knowing each boarder as an individual and offers a nurturing environment where respect towards others and a happy community atmosphere prevails. To support strong and balanced lifestyles we promote a healthy social atmosphere. Girls are regularly engaged in craft projects, dining out, cooking, excursions and movies to name but a few of the activities offered. The Boarding House also has a good selection of games and puzzles, a piano, Lego, sewing machines, WiiU, sporting equipment and bikes to keep Boarders busy after school and on weekends. Conveniently, we are also only a short stroll from Hobart’s renowned art galleries, Salamanca market, vibrant waterfront precinct, shops, theatres and restaurants. The Director of Boarding is supported by a team of senior boarding supervisors who live in the Boarding House to provide care, support, tutoring supervision and assistance.
