Rostrevor College is an all boys’ Catholic day and boarding College in the Edmund Rice tradition, established by the Christian Brothers in 1923. Rostrevor’s spacious grounds are situated in the foothills of Adelaide, nine kilometres from the CBD. The College is recognised nationally as a leader in the education of boys and caters for nearly 800 students from Reception to Year 12. This includes up to 60 boarders from rural SA and interstate. Rostrevor College welcomes all students, from Catholic families and those of other faiths and multicultural backgrounds.

Relationships and an exceptional social justice program are central to Rostrevor’s success in developing caring young men with strong values. A proactive pastoral care program and a case management approach to student welfare provide support structures that nurture its students so they achieve their personal best in all aspects of their lives.

A tradition of academic excellence is complemented by a broad curriculum and specialist facilities in areas such as Music, Agricultural Science, Design, Technology and Science, offering boys the opportunity to succeed and find a pathway in life that suits their interests and talents. The LEAP (Learning Extension and Acceleration Program) extends and challenges those students who are capable of learning at a significantly faster pace and in greater depth.

An extensive cocurricular program with sport and other activities encourages boys to have a go. It allows them to develop their skills, passions and friendships. Specialist PE staff and extensive facilities assist young men to achieve excellence in sport.

Duggan Boarding House is a caring and supportive home where staff provide a sense of belonging and family. The Director and Deputy Director of Boarding reside on site in separate accommodation. A Housemother is employed full-time to provide a female presence and motherly support as well as medical attention when required. Communication and relationships with families are an integral part of supporting the individual needs of students and the College welcomes family involvement.
