The boarding community consists of boarders from all over NSW, with others travelling from Lord Howe Island, Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory. This creates a rich tapestry of young men with diverse interests and talents, all with a common purpose of improving our community.
The students are complemented with a Marist Brother’s community of fifteen Brothers and by fourteen live in boarding staff and six families. There are also over twenty other staff who work as supervisors, coaches, cleaners and maintenance staff.
This unique mix provides a vibrant community where boys have many opportunities to succeed. Study is programmed six days a week and all houses also have specialised tutors for individual or small group assistance.
The students also participate in weekend sport, with cricket, basketball, tennis and fitness in summer and rugby in winter. This compliments the Thursday afternoon sport held weekly for all students.
To offer a balanced programme the boys are encouraged to participate in the College’s sporting teams. Students have access to extensive sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pool and gymnasium.
