Knox Grammar School is a leading Australian K-12 Uniting Church day and boarding school for boys with a focus on quality teaching and academic excellence.
Knox is located in Wahroonga, Sydney, approximately 25km north of the CBD.
The School has a broad curriculum and aims to develop responsible, independent young men with a sure knowledge of who they are.
Knox offers boarding for approximately 160 boys from Years 7 to 12 in a family-style environment. The Knox boarding community is a diverse, close-knit group. Highly qualified and experienced staff including ‘House Mums’ take an active role in the pastoral care of the boys and establish strong relationships with parents.
Boys of the same year are housed together, creating a strong basis for friendship and pastoral care.
Resident adult teaching staff supervise study and provide tutorial assistance, while encouraging each boy to cultivate his talents and strive for excellence. Year 11 and 12 boarders have daytime and evening access to the ground-breaking Knox Senior Secondary Academy (KSSA), which opened in 2015.
Knox offers outstanding facilities including the world-class Knox Boarding Centre, featuring single and twin rooms with ensuites. Boarders enjoy after-hours access to school facilities such as the aquatic centre, basketball and squash courts, gym, playing fields, library and music rooms.
