First Aid and YMHFA Training: Real Response
In conjunction with ABSA, Real Response have developed a range of tailored first aid courses specifically for boarding schools. As opposed to more traditional courses where the content is generally taught in a classroom setting through Powerpoint presentations, in Real Response courses the content is taught through highly realistic simulations. These simulations utilise props such as fake blood, fake wounds, smoke, sound effects, smells and much more to recreate what it is like to find yourself in an emergency situation in a school environment. Staff and/or students who partake in a Real First Aid course will leave feeling prepared to deal with an emergency situation and having had an engaging, enjoyable experience.
